Glenville LB makes pick

Cleveland Glenville two-star inside linebacker Jemall Benjamin was often overshadowed by teammate Ted Ginn Jr. However, it didn’t stop him from getting a shot at playing Division I football.
Benjamin, who is 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, said he’s committed to Akron after visiting up there this past weekend.

“It’s close to home and they are putting a lot of money into the facilities and their new staff,” Benjamin said. “The new staff looks pretty good man. I could have gone elsewhere, but I liked Akron the best.”
Benjamin was also recruited by Cincinnati and Indiana.
