Glenville DE Thomas changes visits around

Three-star defensive end Eric Thomas was scheduled to visit Chapel Hill last weekend. The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder out of Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville was mysteriously absent. Is the lineman planning to make his way to North Carolina in the next couple weeks?
"I decided not to take the visit to North Carolina," he said. "I don't think I'm going to reschedule it either.

"Instead, I'm going to Connecticut on Saturday and that'll probably be my last visit. I'm going to go there and be open to seeing and comparing them to my only two other visits, Indiana and West Virginia."
Up to this point, Thomas hasn't been to Connecticut.
"I really want to get a feel for the coaches. I already know my host is going to be an old teammate of mine, Linsey Witten. It should be fun hanging out with him."
At this time, the No. 24 prospect in Ohio claims he's wide open between his three favorites. What stands out about the Hoosiers and Mountaineers?
"West Virginia and Indiana are like complete opposites for me," he said. "I think West Virginia is a little smaller while Indiana is a little larger. I've been to practice in Morgantown and I like how they run things and the fact they are playing in bowls. As for Indiana, I love it down there too. I really enjoyed my visit and the city of Bloomington."
Thomas expects to make a decision soon after he gets back from Connecticut.
"I don't know exactly when it'll be, but soon after I get back."
