Glatter takes visits

Tight end Zack Glatter out of Clifton (Va.) Centreville has taken a number of visits this summer. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder made his way to four ACC schools in recent weeks. Is he on the verge of more offers?
"I still have offers from Syracuse and Harvard," he said. "Nobody else has offered, but I've been to Duke, North Carolina, Virginia and Boston College.

"I had really good camps at North Carolina and Virginia. Virginia liked me a lot, but told me they are short on scholarships. They want to wait and see my senior film. North Carolina plans to meet on the 19th and then they'll get back to me. I was run down at Boston College, so I didn't do very well and I'm not sure about Duke."
Glatter plans to take a couple more visits in the coming weeks.
"I'm going down this week to Princeton and Harvard," he said. "I've got to go and interview with the Ivys. I want to check out the schools too."
The Commonwealth prospect is favoring his two offers at this time.
"Harvard is in Boston which is awesome. It's probably the best school in the nation and very hard to turn down," he said. "Syracuse is a good school and the program is going up. It'd be awesome to play for them. It's a cool college town too."
While the offers are the leaders at the moment, Glatter couldn't deny his very high interest in North Carolina as well.
"They are my other favorite Division I school, but if they decide to wait. I'll probably just go on and make my decision," he said. "The campus there is beautiful and I love the atmosphere. I think they'll be good the next few years and the coaches are awesome."
