Glatter takes a break from recruiting

Clifton (Va.) Centreville tight end Zack Glatter is taking a break from the recruiting process. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder is preparing for the upcoming season with his team in hopes of earning more scholarships.
"Right now we have practice Monday through Saturday," he said. "We've got a scrimmage on Friday against Varina and our first game is at home against West Potomac.

"I think we're going to be pretty good this year. Overall we are looking solid. I just want to improve on my yards after the catch and be a better blocker every game."
The two-star prospect continues to hold an offer from Syracuse and admission slots from Columbia, Harvard and Princeton.
"Right now I'm focused on the season and trying to do everything for my high school team," he said. "A few schools have mentioned the possibility of offering. I know North Carolina is interested and Duke.
"North Carolina told me I had a really good camp there and they loved what they saw. They are going to take a wait and see, to see how I do this year. They'll get back to me in the season."
Does Glatter like anybody at this point?
"I like everybody right now," he said. "I want to take more visits. Princeton wants me up in December. I haven't really talked about visits with the other schools."
