Glass having solid senior season

We had a chance to take in part of the exciting Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame- Valencia (Calif.) game last Friday and caught up with talented two way standout Rodney Glass following the Knights 35-28 win.
Glass, 5-10, 175 pounds had been basically unstoppable running the ball this year but Valencia did a nice job of containing him and held the speedy athlete to just 11 yards in the 1st half. Glass came in to the game with 628 yards rushing on 64 carries (9.8 ave.) and 10 touchdowns.

The Knights, riding a 26 game winning streak, were down 21-14 at the break but stormed back led by Glass along with Div I quarterback Garrett Green. Glass rushed for 88 yards in the 2nd half and also had a dazzling 38 yard touchdown run wiped out by a holding penalty. He also picked off a Michael Herrick pass and played very well in the secondary all game long.
After the game, Glass talked recruiting and said things are still in a holding pattern for him.
"Yeah, it's not really my focus right now," Glass said. "I don't have any visits lined up or anything like that. I'm going to the USC game tomorrow (Oct. 8) and I like them a lot but they're not recruiting me as hard as some other schools. I have about seven or eight offers right now, Arizona State, Colorado, UNLV, Mississippi, Washington and Oregon State are the main ones and I like all those schools plus USC and UCLA.
"Right now, everyone is recruiting me as an athlete but I prefer running back. I like corner too but I think I'm a natural running back. It's not a big deal though. Our team is my main focus right now and that's why I haven't set up any trips or started to narrow my list down. We're trying to win our third straight CIF title and I don't want there to be any distractions."
