Givens prefers the Big Ten

Chillicothe, Ohio, wide receiver Chris Givens has seen his scholarship offer total rise to five. And while Givens is considering the five schools that have extended offers, he also is looking at a few others.
"I have offers from Kent State, Ohio University, Akron, those are all official offers," Givens said. "And Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio offered awhile back.

"I'm looking at all of them. But I'm looking at some others too like Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan State, Indiana, and Bowling Green. All of them seem really interested in me."
Givens doesn't have a leader, but he would prefer to play in a certain conference.
"There really isn't a No. 1 right now," he said. "I haven't had time to sit down and really look at all of them. But I prefer the Big Ten.
"I'll probably make unofficial visits to Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan State. I'm just kind of waiting to see what happens."
The 6-foot-2 and 180-pound Givens caught 23 passes for 415 yards during his junior season. Given averaged 18 yards per catch. He also made 76 tackles and intercepted a pass.
