"I'm interested in Notre Dame, Eastern and Western Michigan. Illinois, Wisconsin, Eastern Kentucky, and the University of Louisville. And Ball State. Notre Dame is my favorite."
"I'm trying to fit some visits into my schedule. Maybe Indiana. I'm looking at them somewhat too. Wisconsin, the University of Louisville, and Eastern Michigan are some others."
The 5-foot-10 and 186 pound Gilliland has been a varsity starter at inside linebacker since his sophomore year. He was an all-conference, all-area, and all-state selection his junior season. Gilliland also does his team's punting and kicking. He averaged 40 yards per punt during his junior season.
