Gilchrist concentrating on season

Virginia Beach (Va.) Landstown wide receiver / cornerback Jeremy Gilchrist said everybody wants to know where he is going to college and when he will decide. He also said there are more important things to consider right now, like how he is going to get his current team through the playoffs.
“Right now I can’t tell you,” he commented on his favorite list of schools. “I am just playing football. I plan to sit down after the season and figure out my top five.” Landstwon begins its playoff run next week.
Also a star on the hardwood, Jeremy doesn't expect basketball season to interfere with his visit schedule.
Rated the No. 40 wide receiver in the country by, the 5-foot-9, 180 pound athlete runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds. Although unsure of all his scholarship offers, Colorado has extended one, and Maryland, NC State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech have also shown strong interest.
Focusing on the season has paid off for Gilchrist in the stats department, as he has caught 65 passes for more than 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns. He has also been keeping up with his schoolwork and has pulled his GPA up to a 3.1. He has taken the SAT for the second time and is expecting the results soon.
