Giacone to visit North Carolina

North Carolina has been recruiting Brandon Napoleon very hard in this recruiting cycle.
After all, the star quarterback and athlete from Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep is one of the more versatile prospects in the region and he has the Tar Heels at the top of his list.

Now one of Napoleon's teammates is hearing from the Heels.
"I'm going down to North Carolina this coming Wednesday," said Michael Giacone, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end from St. Peter's.
"They've been showing pretty good interest. They've offered our quarterback, Brandon Napoleon, and they were asking about me. I got in contact with them and I've been talking to the coaches.
"Brandon's talked a little about them. He really likes it. I've only heard great things about UNC so I'm excited to go."
Giacone recently visited UConn and that trip went very well.
"My most recent visit was up to UConn and that was like two weeks ago," he recalled. "That went good. We saw the practices, the facilities and everything else. The coaches were great. They offered me and I got my second offer there."
Giacone is still at two offers, and his first had come from Central Florida.
"I want to commit preseason," Giacone said, referring to the time period before the start of his senior year. "As far as my list goes I have a bunch of schools on the top but it changes so much I don't want to throw it out there yet."
