Tight end Michael Giacone of Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep has been holding steady with four offers, but is optimistic that a fifth may be coming today. He is also preparing for a Midwest visit this weekend, as he plans to get a closer look at one of the schools that has already offered.
"A bunch of schools have been in lately and I'm getting a lot of interest," said Giacone, who is 6-foot-5 and 246 pounds. "Currently I have four offers and word is that one more is coming in tomorrow."
That fifth offer is likely coming from Boston College today, which will join Rutgers, Connecticut, Indiana and Central Florida.

This Saturday, Giacone will make his way to Indiana for the first time.
"I hope to get a good feel for the school's atmosphere, feel out the new staff and check out the facilities," said Giacone.
Giacone is up in the air about future visits at this time.
"Right now I don't know, but I do know that before I commit I will revisit my top schools," he said.
The North Jersey tight end is still on pace to make a final decision before his senior season, but he is keeping an open mind when asked about current favorites.
"I have some ideas, but I'm not putting those out yet, because stuff can still happen," said Giacone.
