Ghee cuts his list

Fayetteville (N.C.) Jack Britt defensive back Brandon Ghee has narrowed his list down to five schools. His recruitment has been heating up recently as he now holds seven offers from the likes of Clemson, West Virginia, Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and East Carolina. So who made the cut?
Ghee, a 6-foot-0, 165-pound cornerback earned all-conference honors as a junior posting 50 tackles with five interceptions.

“I have my top five now,” admitted Ghee. “I’ve visited all of the schools that have offered me so far, and my favorites are Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Wake Forest.”
Ghee was planning to take some official visits before reaching a decision, but things have changed.
"I might just make a decision in September," he said. "I've seen all the schools up close."
What does he want in a school?
“Education is the most important factor for me,” explained Ghee. “I want to major in computer science, so finding the school with the right program for me is my main goal.”
With former teammate George Bell on scholarship and starting his freshman year at Virginia Tech, it’s been mentioned that Ghee could be leaning towards the Hokies. Is that the case?
“While it would be nice to have a familiar face to play alongside of, I’m going to make the decision that is best for me,” said Ghee. “Tech is a top five school for me though. I like the school and the facilities a lot up there.”
Ghee is also impressed with his other favorites.
"Clemson has good coaches and a great atmosphere, the fans are great," he said. "Tennessee also has a great atmosphere and fans and their facilities are amazing. UNC has good academics and I could play early there I think and Wake also has great academics and their on the rise."
