Germany goes with his heart

Four-star defensive end/linebacker prospect Eugene Germany (6-4, 250, 4.65) from Pomona, Calif., has signed on the dotted line for USC according to Pomona assistant coach John Brown.
It was a roller coaster ride down to the last for the two schools, but USC was too hard to pass up.

“USC will bring him in a linebacker,” Brown said. “How long he stays there I don’t know. I think he’s going to get a lot bigger.”
If Germany does get bigger, then USC may have landed a player who could turn into another Reggie White.
“Eugene told Michigan that USC was in his heart,” Brown said. “He loved both schools, but in the end he’s happy with USC.
Germany was selected a member of the prestigious Best of the West team, all region and all-area for his senior season performance after racking up 101 tackles and three sacks.
