Germany down to two

Fans of USC and Michigan are in for a wild ride for the services of four-star defensive end/linebacker prospect Eugene Germany (6-4, 250, 4.65) from Pomona, Calif. Germany has eliminated Oregon State and his announcement for Germany’s signature be this coming Wednesday (February 4).
“It’s going to come down to Michigan and USC,” Pomona assistant coach John Brown said. “Eugene is not tipping his hand.”

“I’ve been looking for him all day,” Brown said. “He may be hiding out and I may not see him until Wednesday.”
“Eugene is going to announce on Wednesday,” Brown said. “ESPN is supposed to come in and film his announcement. Fox may also be here.”
According to Brown, USC is recruiting Germany as a middle linebacker while Michigan is recruiting him as a defensive end.
Germany was selected a member of the prestigious Best of the West team, all region and all-area for his senior season performance after racking up 101 tackles and three sacks.
