Germany down to three

Four-star defensive end prospect Eugene Germany (6-4, 250, 4.65) from Pomona, Calif., despite reports to the contrary Germany has not committed anywhere. This one looks like it will go down to the wire. According to Germany himself it is a three horse race.
The three lucky schools to remain in the running for Germany’s services are USC, Michigan and Oregon State.

“I will make up my mind on signing day,” Germany said.
What does Germany like about his top three schools?
“I like the family atmosphere at USC,” Germany said. “I like the whole football program at Michigan and their academic support.”
“Oregon State is an up and coming program,” Germany said. “Like USC, I like the family atmosphere at Oregon State.”
“All the players at Oregon State are cool,” Germany said. “No one acts better than anyone else. The players treat each other all the same.”
USC is recruiting Germany as a linebacker while Michigan and Oregon State like him as a defensive end.
Germany was selected a member of the prestigious Best of the West team, all region and all-area for his senior season performance after racking up 101 tackles and three sacks.
Does Germany care where he plays on the D-I level?
“No,” Germany said. “I just want to play help the team anyway I can.”
