Georgia WR with first offer

Mitchell Williford is a big wide receiver prospect from Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge High School. Williford, 6-4 and 190 pounds, has 41 receptions for 664 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Williford had a big game last week for Peachtree Ridge in their opening round playoff wins against Dacula. He has four receptions for 85 yards on offense and eight tackles and four pass breakups playing defensive back.
"I guess you could say I had a good game." Williford said. "I am a big possession receiver. Throw it up to me and I am going to get it. The last four or five scores have been 30 plus yards and I have only had one drop all season. Throw it near me and I will catch it."

According to Williford he has one scholarship offer at this time.
"Air Force offered me about three weeks ago and I took an unofficial visit there last weekend. I really liked the academic part. The coaches were friendly and nice and we had a good talk. I like the offense and they have some good young players. I have been thinking about the military thing a lot. I am very interested but I want to keep my options open."
Other schools have called Williford but only Air Force has offered up to this point.
"That's a very prestigious school. Elon, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt have all called. I know my coach has sent out some video of my season. I also talked with NC State and Wake Forest."
Williford carries a 3.7 GPA and has already scored a 26 on the ACT.
