Georgia WR wants track and football

Three-star wide receiver Demiko Goodman is a speedster on the track field, but wants to spend his college days on the gridiron. Rated the No. 21 wide receiver in the country by Rivals.com and the No. 70 overall prospect in the Southeast Elite 88, Goodman claims seven D-I offers, but only a few of them are amongst his current favorites.
Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, Florida, Clemson, and South Carolina, are his current top six, but he adds Tennessee in as another possibility. What makes these schools his leaders?

Georgia is close and they have a good coaching staff,” Goodman explained. “They are just a good team overall.
“At Florida State, Coach Bobby Bowden and just how he talked to me was impressive. I like the program.
Auburn has a tremendous track program and it is close to home. I like the coaching staff, and I like how they do things down there.
“I like the Florida track team. I went there to a football camp too, and I like the offense. It is also not far away.
“At Clemson I like the offense. That’s what puts them in my top six.
“At South Carolina I really like their track, but they were the first to recruit me in football. They are not far, either.
Tennessee has a good track team and I like their football too.”
So far Goodman claims offers from Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, Maryland, Duke, and BYU. Although he said football is his favorite sport, track is also something he wants to pursue at the next level. He was No. 2 in the state last year in the 400 meter sprint with a 46.3-second time.
Demiko should have no problems qualifying with a 3.5 GPA and a 900 on the SAT. He plans to major in business.
