Georgia WR Trent Broadnax commits to Duke

In between handling online classes, picking up recent offers (Air Force, Appalachian State, Illinois, Lehigh and Western Carolina) and talking to countless coaches, Trent Broadnax has had time to think about his recruitment and a leader has emerged.

He was thinking about committing earlier this week, and on Friday, he decided to announce he is a Blue Devil.

"I was at Duke early in March for a Junior Day and I was at the Miami game last season, and on each visit, it had that family feel," said Broadnax. "I have gotten familiar with the Duke program, I like the coaches and that, along with the constant contact has put Duke on top.

"They are always reaching each. They recruit me every day and Duke is a great school. I like them a lot."

The three-star wide receiver out of Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine chose Duke over schools like Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, UCF, Virginia and Wake Forest. He had been in strong communication with those schools leading up this his decision.
