Tennessee, South Carolina and West Virginia also have been giving Bass a look. He plans to head to Columbia in June to attend the Gamecocks' prospect camp.
"I'm definitely going to the South Carolina camp, I'm not really sure about what else," he said.
The Commodores are among the schools that have made an impression on Bass.
"Tennessee and Vanderbilt are in the SEC," Bass said, "They've impressed be the most. I want to at least play in the sec or acc. I wouldn't not consider anybody, but probably the (schools in the SEC/ACC, I would consider more."
The Hoosiers have communicated to Bass that he is a prospect they want in their program.
"Indiana said I could be a big contributor to their receiving corps," he said.
A final decision for the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder should come during the summer.
"I'm going to talk to my coaches and commit before school," he said.
Bass had 39 receptions for 524 yards and 13 touchdowns during his junior year.
