Georgia WR doesnt make trip

Atlanta Douglas receiver Corey Thompson was scheduled to visit Wisconsin this weekend, but it looks like the Badgers are no longer on the speedy receiver’s list.
“I decided that was too far away from home for me,” Thompson, a two-star recruit, said. “I don’t think I’m going to re-schedule it.”

Thompson, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, has already visited Wake Forest and is scheduled in January to visit Duke on the 9th, Marshall on the 16th and then Auburn on the 23rd. He has scholarship offers from all of the teams, except Auburn.
“The recruiting process has gotten a little hectic,” he said. “It really seems good looking at it from the outside in, but once you experience it, it’s not a lot of fun. There is a lot of pressure on you, and there are a lot of phone calls from the coaches. It’s been a tough situation for me because I don’t know where I’m going to go.”
Thompson will play in the Georgia North-South all-star game on December 30.
