Georgia visit impresses 2019 Tennessee DE Joseph Anderson

The Latest: Even though he just wrapped up his freshman year in high school, Joseph Anderson already has an offer list that would make most rising senior jealous. Four SEC programs -- Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Mississippi State -- have all offered the lengthy defensive end and most recently he attended camp at Georgia in an effort to impress the coaches there. While he didn't walk away with an offer, it's clear he's now firmly on the Bulldogs radar.

In His Words: "I went to Georgia for camp on Saturday and they showed me a lot of love. We got back in touch and had a chance to reconnect. It was real good experience to be on the field with the coaches working out. I did really good at the camp and they seemed impressed. I think they're pretty close to offering me. They didn't mention it but the way they were talking I got the feeling it's close."

Rivals Reaction: Like most players from the state of Tennessee it's not surprising to see the Vols and Vanderbilt quickly jump on Anderson's offer list. But Anderson also trains with 2018 Georgia commit Max Wray as well as 2017 prime Georgia target JaCoby Stevens. Could the Bulldogs be building a pipeline to the Nashville area? Only time will tell. Either way, it looks like Anderson will have well over 20 offers before it's all said and done and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Bulldogs join that list soon.
