Georgia Tech picks up OL verbal

Georgia Tech has picked up a commitment from one of Alabama’s top offensive line prospects.
Mountain Brook (Ala.) standout Nate McManus gave his verbal to the Yellow Jackets staff tonight.

“After this weekend I went down to Auburn for my last official visit, and I felt like I had seen all I needed to see from the schools I was looking at,” he said. “I felt like I had three good choices with Auburn, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee, but after weighing my options, Georgia Tech came out ahead in most, if not every every category.
“I like the city atmosphere there, the academics and the type of guys they have on their team. My relationship with the O-Line coach was pretty strong, too. I think that’s important because he’s who I’ll be spending a lot of time with the next four or five years.”
