"As far as recruiting, I have three visits set up right now to Kent State, Jacksonville State and UT-Chattanooga," Carter said. "I got an offer this past week from Middle Tennessee. I have some other offers from West Georgia, Tusculum, Kent State, Jacksonville State and UT-Chattanooga."

Carter will visit Kent State on January 7th followed by UT-Chattanooga (Jan. 14) and Jacksonville State (Jan. 21).
"I might visit Middle Tennessee, but I really don't know yet. Probably so," Carter said. "Who I'm visiting are probably my top schools. I'm still waiting on some schools. Illinois, Southern Miss and Alabama-- I've been talking to them a good bit too."
Carter (6-4, 240) was recently named All-County as a tight end.
"I finished with 20 receptions for I think it was 295 yards and four touchdowns," he said.
