Georgia TE sets first visit

McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian tight end Alec Huber is one of the fastest rising tight end prospects in the South. He has recently picked up new offers and has set his first official visit.
“I have offers from Northwestern, Furman, Ohio and Duke,” Huber said. “Duke just offered last week. Georgia Tech has been calling a lot lately. They told me that they recently had a scholarship open up for a tight end.”

Huber attended the NIKE camp in Atlanta where he measured in at 6-foot-4, 214 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds.
“Right now Northwestern and Georgia Tech are tied up there at No. 1,” Huber said. After that I would say that Duke and Furman are next. I have an official visit set up with Northwestern for December 3.”
During his senior season Huber caught 27 passes for 570 passes for nine touchdowns and collected 121 tackles on defense.
“I have in-home visits set up with Duke for Tuesday this week and Northwestern for Wednesday,” Huber said. “Georgia Tech also said they wanted to set something up for next week.”
