Georgia TE Satterthwait verbals

Lassiter High School two star ranked Josh Satterthwait (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) has given the Miami of Ohio Redhawks his verbal commitment.

"Your timing couldn't of been better" said Josh Satterthwait. "I just talked to the coaches at Miami of Ohio about 40 minutes ago, and I gave them my verbal commitment."

According to Satterthwait, "I looked at the pro's and con's of each school over the last few days, and Miami of Ohio just was too good of an opportunity for me to pass up. The academics are very strong, plus I really like the coaching staff as well. Miami of Ohio always seem to have a love for tight ends, and that is the position they recruited me for. I basically went with my gut feeling. My official visit really did help me make my decision. The campus is great and so are the facilities as well, and I'm a solid verbal commit to Miami of Ohio."

Satterthwait has recruiting interest from East Carolina, Louisville, Central Florida and Troy State, but according to Satterthwait, "the last week or so it came down to either Miami of Ohio or East Carolina."
