Georgia TE mentions Midwest school

Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County tight end Deonte Carter , a 6-foot-4 and 240 pounder, certainly didn't rack up the gaudy statistics during his junior season, but that hasn't stopped recruiters from showing interest.
"I have Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Ohio University, Alabama, and Eastern Kentucky recruiting me," Carter said. "Alabama, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and Ohio called."

"Probably Georgia Tech would be my top one that I would want to go to. It's a great school. I like their offensive set. And it's close to home."
"I've been to Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee's camps. And I'm going to Georgia's camp and probably Auburn's."
Now about those statistics.
"I only caught one pass last season," Carter said. "We ran the ball about 95% of the time. We were 6-5."
