Georgia TE makes pick

You could tell last night that Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood tight end Michael Turner was leaning heavily toward Georgia, but now he's more than leaning.
He's committed.
"He actually committed before right before Leonard Pope did on Sunday," Tom Turner, Michael's father said.
"There was just a misunderstanding, because he didn't know how to announce it. But he is a Dawg. He is committed to Georgia."
Turner, who is 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, picked UGA over Arkansas, Maryland, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
"We're all excited for him," Turner's father said. "Our daughter is 13 and she was at a gymnatics meet on Sunday. When she heard he committed, she did a flip that would have been a perfect 10. She was so excited and so are we."
With Turner's size he could eventually move on the inside and play on the offensive line, but either way he is a heck of a player and solid pick up for UGA.
