Georgia TE heading to I-AA

After considering Connecticut and Ball State, Warner-Robins (Ga.) Houston County tight end Ben Collins has decided that he wants to stay in the Southeast and play college football, even if it means heading to a Division I-AA program.
"I decided (Connecticut) was just too far from home," Collins said. "I didn't go to Ball State this weekend, I went to Gardner-Webb instead."

Collins will visit Coastal Carolina next weekend.
"Western Kentucky and Georgia Southern (also are involved)," Collins said.
All of the schools interested in Collins are recruiting the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder as a tight end.
