Georgia sleeper emerging

Lawrenceville (Ga.) Gwinnett County is home to at least a half dozen Division I prospects in 2007 and wide receiver Rolando Dyer is one of them. The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder is beginning to pick up interest after an impressive junior year.
"He is getting quite a few letters from schools including Louisville, Georgia Tech, Ball State, Michigan State, Arkansas and more," Central Gwinnett head coach Bradley Warren said. "He hasn't really mentioned any favorites yet because he has been very involved in baseball this spring."

Last season Dyer hauled in 44 receptions for 532 yards and seven touchdowns.
"Rolando is an extremely quick wide receiver," he said. "He jumps off the ball really well and has excellent hands. He also has an uncanny ability to get open. Last year he played safety and cornerback for us and became a lock down corner, but I still say he is a wide receiver in college all the way."
Besides being a solid player, the wide receiver prospect is a good character person too.
"He is a very hard worker and a three sport athlete that also is a pitcher on the baseball team and a guard on the basketball team," he said. "Rolando is a very good kid that is extremely competitive and tough."
Dyer plans to attend the Nike Camp at Georgia this weekend.
