Georgia safety solid package

Woodvine (Ga.) Camden County is ready to rumble. And one of the biggest reasons why is because of the standout safety on their roster named Brian Crum.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Crum is one of the better recruits in South Georgia. He has all of the tools that college coaches are looking in a safety that could even develop into a solid outside linebacker on the next level.

Speed – has it with a 4.55-second time in the 40-yard dash.
Brains – has it with a 2.6 grade-point average and a 1010 on the SAT.
Offers – has it with offers from Clemson, Kentucky, Auburn, South Carolina, N.C. State and Tennessee.
Leader – has it with Clemson leading the way because the Tigers offered first and has allowed them to remain in the top spot for quite some time.
“I show them the most favoritism because they believed in me first,” Crum said. “That can sure change, but right now I feel good about Clemson.”
But he also feels good about Florida and the other teams on his list.
“Florida says that they don’t offer scholarships to many guys early,” Crum said. “I’m getting excited about September 1 when the coaches can call again. That’ll allow me to get to know them better.
“Most of the coaches from teams like Auburn, Tennessee, N.C. State and South Carolina all came and saw me this spring and called. Now it’s going to be fun to get to know them better.”
