Georgia S has leader, newcomer

He's one of the top handful of safeties in the Southeast, and he's starting to get more and more attention. So what is the latest with Roswell, Ga., standout Chris Reis?
"Georgia Tech is still pretty much my top team," Reis, who is 6-foot-1 and 204 pounds, said.

"They've been on me ever since the beginning, and they were the first one to offer me. I was at the Tech-Clemson game, and I've liked everything that I've seen about them."
But Tech fans shouldn't celebrate quite yet. Auburn has suddenly become a player the past few weeks - especially after Reis' visit to the Plains for the Auburn-Florida game.
"Man that was incredible," Reis, who also has offers from Furman and UAB, said.
"The crowd was so great. The defensive coaches told me that they're going to be at one of my final games, and that if I do well they'll probably offer me. They've invited me for a visit, and that's a place that I'm going to check out for sure."
Other than that, Reis is pretty much up in the air. What isn’t, is his ability to make big plays.
Reis has 525 yards receiving on 37 catches for six scores. He also has 49 tackles and one interception on defense.
