narrow his recruiting focus.

Tashard Choice, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast
Top 100 team and the No. 21 running back in the nation, has
trimmed a long list of teams down to a more manageable five or six with an
eye on official visits.
"I haven't set any yet, but I'm going to be doing
that real soon," he said. "Georgia Tech is for sure. They are my leader.
It's just the ideal situation for me right now. It's close to home, I like
their running back situation, the coaches are real nice and they have a good
program in the degree I want (industrial engineering). It just seems like
the most comfortable place at this point.
"I'm real interested in Mississippi State, too. That
might be another one. After those, I'm looking at Alabama, Notre Dame,
Virginia and Oklahoma."
The Yellow Jackets, Bulldogs and Cavaliers have
offered. Choice is still waiting on the Crimson Tide, Fighting Irish and
Sooners.
Alabama had been listed previously as a co-leader,
"but I don't know about them now since they haven't offered me. It's getting
kind of late." He noted that Notre Dame and Oklahoma had each indicated
recently that an offer may be coming.
"I'll be able to get those visits scheduled once I
have a better idea of that," he said.
Choice has rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 13
touchdowns and recorded more than 300 yards receiving this season in leading
Lovejoy to an 8-2 record.
