Georgia RB is taking visits

Running back Alex Daniel out of Roswell, Ga. took a visit to one ACC school last Saturday. The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder is hoping to go on one more trip before the fall practice officially starts up.
"I made a visit to Maryland last Saturday," he said. "That was great and I liked it a lot. Coach Brattan showed me around the campus and I liked it. I also talked with coach Friedgen about everything they are doing up there. They also had their doctor check out my knee and MCL and said it was perfectly fine.

"It was the first time I had been up there. My dad always does business in the area and told me how much I'd like. I had fun and I think it helped me out a lot with them."
Following the trip to Maryland, Daniel is looking at a visit to East Carolina in the near future.
"I just want to go in the next week or two, sometime soon," he said. "I want to talk to my recruiting coach since I like him a lot. I would like to check out the facilities and meet coach Holtz too. Everything online looks real nice and I'm very interested in them."
Currently Daniel claims approximately 10 scholarships. Do any schools lead for his services?
"I don't think anybody is leading," he said. "Everyone that has offered is showing a lot of interest in me and the places I've visited I liked a lot. The only thing I can say is that I'd like to get it done as soon as possible."
Next up for the three-star prospect is a look at official visits.
"I definitely want to take one of my first to UCF,' he said. "I know they've gotten two running backs, but they are taking three and I'm very interested. There are a bunch of other schools I want to check out too. Nothing is set in stone right now."
Daniel and Roswell kick off the season on September 1st.
