Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Duke and others have been showing the 5-foot-10, 200-pounder serious interest.
"Hopefully, I can get Florida State and Miami (Fla.) to offer and everything will be alright."
Marshall added that the Seminoles and Hurricanes, along Georgia Tech, Florida, Miami (Fla.), Georgia and Tennessee were his current favorites.
"The academics and prestige are important," Marshall said. "And what they do for their kids in their program and also what there kids do as far as getting to the next level
"We plan to go to Auburn and Tennessee and also Georgia," he said.
Marshall, who rushed for 2,300 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior, attended the Rivals.com Junior Day last weekend at Lovejoy (Ga.) High School in suburban Atlanta.
"I learned that the academic part of being an athlete is very important for you to be successful at the next level," Marshall said. "Everybody should realize that there is more to football than getting out there and being on the field, you've got to get it done in the classroom also."
Marshall plans on attending one of the NIKE Camps this spring.
