Georgia RB answers the question

When it comes to the top running back prospects in the state of Georgia, any list without College Park Woodward Academy standout Christopher Smith on it would be incomplete.
That’s because Smith, who is 5-foot-10 and 198 pounds with 4.56-second speed in the 40-yard dash, rushed for 684 yards last season in an offense that shares the ball quite a bit. He now has lofty goals for his senior season.

“I want to be the workhorse this year,” Smith said. “I rushed for around 700 yards on 129 carries last year and we distributed the ball a lot. I did what the coaches wanted me to do – even if it was using a five-receiver set. But I want to get to 2,000 this year. I went for 276 against Salem, so why can’t I do that every game?”
Good question. Many college coaches think Smith can reach that mark and already contacting him via hand-written letters and visiting his coach up at school.
Smith said Penn State, Wake Forest, Louisville and Cincinnati are his hardest pursuers at this point in the process, but he expects even more attention when spring practices begin on May 6.
“I sort of got a late start to this recruiting stuff,” Smith said. “I delayed filling out all of the questionnaires and things like that. I think that might have hurt me a little bit, but I’m just now starting to get it rolling.”
Is there anybody he’s rolling toward?
“I kind of like Penn State,” Smith said. “When I was young, my sister was up at Penn State. She took me to a game up there, and I just remember how neat it was up there. Penn State is sending me a ton of stuff, too, so I really like them.
“I’m just excited about this being the first step for me. I’m thankful for all of the attention and letters. I never thought it would come.”
