Zach Richardson has scheduled his
first official visit.
"I'll be going to Tennessee on Jan. 24," he said. "Coach
(Randy) Sanders called me recently and said they really wanted me to come up
there, so that's what I wanted to hear.
"They haven't offered a scholarship yet, but they seem
very interested. I think they're waiting to see what some other guys do first. They just told me to be patient. But they've shown a lot more interest than anyone else. If they
offered, I'd probably jump on it."
Richardson (6-5, 205, 4.9) is also being recruited by
Auburn, Georgia and Middle Tennessee.
"I haven't had much contact with them in the last week
or so," he said, "so I haven't been able to schedule any other official visits."
Richardson passed for more than 1,500 yards and 12
touchdowns as a senior, his first season as the the quarterback.
