Georgia QB taking it easy

When you're one of the nation's top quarterbacks and you have scholarship offers from about everybody you can take things a little easier in the summer. Just ask LaGrange, Ga., standout Blake Mitchell about that.
"I'm just chilling this summer for the most part," Mitchell said. "I'm really focused on one thing - and that's just getting better for our season."

Mitchell, a four-star selection that also earned Rivals100 honors, said at this point he's still thinking hard about seven teams - Florida, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina and Auburn.
He has offers from all of the teams on his list, except for Miami. He's also only spent time at one camp this summer.
"I was down at the Auburn team camp," he said.
"We took third in the passing league there. We lost to (Punta Gorda) Charlotte in Florida. We shouldn't have lost to them."
Things would probably be different if it was under the Friday night-lights, since LaGrange is one of the nation's premiere programs and hoping to wrap up another state championship this season.
And that's what Mitchell's main focus is on now - football, not recruiting.
"It's all about the season," he said.
