Georgia QB now looking at MSU

Three-star Tucker (Ga.) quarterback D.T. McDowell, once committed to Nebraska, has narrowed his decision down to a pair of different schools on signing day.
“Nebraska still wanted him and left the scholarship offer on the table,” said Tucker coach Bill Ballard, “but they wanted him as an athlete, and D.T. would like the opportunity to play quarterback. That’s why that fell through. He’s no longer considering them.

“He just visited Mississippi State this weekend, and he told me he had a great time there. It’s a pretty good fit for him for both football and baseball. He’s going to announce between them and Troy State on signing day.”
McDowell (6-1, 190, 4.57) is rated the No. 12 dual-threat quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com.
