Georgia QB makes the call

East Point (Ga.) Tri-Cities quarterback Tray Rutland committed to Tulane during his official visit last week, but he still plans on taking a few more visits to be sure.
"I committed to Tulane," Rutland said. "I visited Tulane last week. I like Tulane because No. 1, they graduate a lot of their athletes. That's one of my major priorities along with playing football. It reminded me of home a lot. I just think I'd love to play for a guy like Coach (Chris) Scelfo."

Rutland (6-2, 191) has scheduled two additional visits for January though.
"I go to Mississippi State on January 14th and Bowling Green the week following that," Rutland said. "I'm trying to set up another visit to either Kent or Marshall. I just want to see what else is out there. I'm pretty solid, but I just want to see what else is out there because there might be something better for me. That's why I'm taking my other visits."
Rutland only played in the first four games this season because of a hamstring injury, but he still managed to pass for 983 yards and rush for 487.
