Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson standout
Reggie Ball has targeted five teams for possible official
"I'm going to be sitting down and figuring them out
this week," he said, "but it looks like it will be Auburn, Georgia Tech,
Louisville, North Carolina and LSU.
"Michigan has an outside shot. They've been calling
a lot more lately, recruiting me as an athlete. I prefer quarterback, but
that's a great school, and it's hard to ignore when they're giving you so
much attention. I take that as a big compliment."
Ball (6-1, 185, 4.45) is being recruited as a
dual-threat quarterback by the other programs on his list. He has offers
from Auburn, LSU and Duke.
Is there a favorite?
"Right now, it's a three-way tie between Auburn,
Tech and Louisville," he said. "It's hard to say which one of those until
later on. Maybe Auburn just by a little bit because they've offered."
