Georgia QB excited about future

Nash Nance is one of the top signal caller from the Peach State. Nance, 6-3.5 and 206 pounds, recently transferred from Rome (Ga.) Darlington High School to Calhoun.
"It's nice coming back to my hometown school," Nash said. "This is where I grew up and it was a long drive for me to get to Darlington.

"We ran the "wing t" and only threw seven or eight times a game (at Darlington). We will run the spread at Calhoun. I am really excited about upcoming season. I can't wait. Of course there is already a good quarterback there and he's only a junior. I will have to beat him out."
So far Harvard has offered Nance while teams like Duke, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State are showing him a ton of interest.
"They all came to my basketball games over the past few weeks and they are showing me lots of interest. Right now I do not have any favorites at this time."
Nance had a busy summer and fall last year. He made trips to see Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Harvard, Vandy, Duke and Texas.
"Those visits certainly gave me a head start on some things. I know I was supposed to recently go to Alabama but I had a basketball game. I know I will be going to check out Wake Forest, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, Duke, and Vandy. Those are all coming up and it should be a busy spring."
Nance is a good pocket passer who has the ability to move and scramble.
"I also think I am a good leader and more of a leader by example. I know I need to be a better vocal leader, especially now with my new teammates.
