Georgia OL still likes Clemson

For Monroe (Ga.) George Walton Academy offensive tackle Devin Shivers life is really good. Not only is he spending time talking recruiting with college coaches and reporters, he’s also celebrating a perfect 14-0 season and a state championship.
“I’m getting fitted for my ring tomorrow,” Shivers, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound two-star offensive tackle, said. “I’ve never had this much fun in my entire life. It’s hard going 14-0 and winning it all, but I would do it all over again.

“I’m still happy, but also a little bit sad because this was my last game with my teammates. These guys are my best friends and we’re all like brothers to each other.”
But like any family, life does go on and Shivers is moving on to the next level to play college football.
“I’m going to take my first visit to Clemson that first weekend in January,” Shivers said. “I’m still really high on them. I like Clemson a lot. I’m also talking to Middle Tennessee State and UConn about a visit. I’ve been offered by Clemson and Middle Tennessee, but UConn has just been by the school.”
Shivers said with his main focus on football up until this point, he’s not had much time to think about recruiting. But he’ll start to think about that more now that he’s done with his senior season.
