Georgia OL sticking with plan

Unlike his teammate and fellow offensive lineman Antonio Mercier, who seems to be getting closer to a college decision, Merci Falaise is still sticking to his original plan, the one he hatched after having arthoscopic surgery on his hip last year.
Falaise, instead of narrowing his college choices, is remaining open, trying to see which schools will offer him a scholarship after they see how he has recovered from the hip surgery as a senior.

“I told myself that I would wait all the way through my senior year and see who comes back with scholarship offers,” Falaise explained. “That’s what I’m going to do. Until the end of the season, I’m just not thinking much about recruiting.”
While Falaise may not be thinking too much about recruiting, college coaches seem to be thinking about him. South Carolina, East Carolina, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Kentucky are among the schools who have offered a scholarship.
Georgia is also in the picture but the Bulldogs have yet to offer.
Falaise is 6-foot-5, 328 pounds and has been a three-year starter for Washington (Ga.) Wilkes.
“My hip is probably 95-percent now,” Falaise said. “I feel like I’m getting the power back in it.”
