Georgia OL racking up the offers

Lovejoy, Ga., offensive guard Anthony Parker might be the fastest rising offensive line prospect in the state of Georgia and he’s gotten the offers to prove it. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Parker now has offers from nine D-I schools.
“I’ve been offered recently by Kentucky and Indiana,” Parker, a two-star prospect, said. “They’ve just come into the mix. I’ve been offered now by Mississippi State, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, Indiana, UConn and Cincinnati.”

Parker said two other teams that haven’t offered are also in the mix – Michigan and Penn State. He mentioned that Nebraska used to be on his list, but he said the Huskers have not called him in September.
“I’m still keeping things pretty open with everybody,” he said. “I’m not ready to make any kind of decision any time soon. I’m hoping to go see some games and then take all five of my visits before I made a pick.”
Behind Parker, Lovejoy won 35-0 last Friday night over Fayette County. They are off this upcoming week and hope to keep a successful season in tact as he begins to near district play.
“I’ve been playing really well,” Parker said. “The coaches that have called said they’ve really been impressed with my progress. I’m hoping that we win state and I get to pick and choose what school I end up at.”
Sounds like he’ll have a great shot at both.
