Georgia OL picks MAC
Austell (Ga.) South Cobb offensive tackle Charles Laster is heading to the MAC.
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Laster took his first and last official visit this weekend to Kent. Laster, a two-star prospect, committed to the Golden Flashes before he left for home.

"I really like the coaches, the players and the program is one that's on the rise," Laster said. "I met the quarterback and a lot of the offensive linemen. They have their head in the right spot. They're ready to win, and that's what really stood out about the program.
"It's a program on the rise, and it's the right fit for me."
Laster was recruited by Kent linebacker coach Larry McDaniel. He was also recruited by Tulane, Southern Miss, East Carolina and Jacksonville State.
"The coaches just kept telling me congratulations," Laster said. "I guess word traveled fast because everybody seemed to know about it pretty quickly."
