Georgia OL lining up camp plans

Dalton (Ga.) offensive lineman Cameron Mayo is preparing for a busy summer.
“I plan to go to a lot of camps,” he said. “As of right now, I’ll be going to Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia Tech and Vandy. There may be a change or two in there depending on what happens in the next couple of weeks.”

Mayo (6-5, 258, 4.85) is one of the Peach State’s top lineman in the Class of 2004 thanks to a tall, lean frame and outstanding footwork. He has early offers from Ole Miss and Duke.
“I like both of those schools, but it’s too early for me to say anything about favorites,” he said. “I’m just looking for somewhere relatively close to home. Ole Miss, which is about six hours away, is about the farthest I would go.
“Other than that, I’m looking for a school where I can also get a good education and where I fit in with the other players and feel good about the coaches. I just want to feel comfortable.”
