Georgia OL has top four

Bainbridge, Ga., offensive guard Gage Crews is one of the top offensive lineman in the Peach State. He has picked up three impressive offers and has narrowed down his list to four schools.
“Right now I still have offers from LSU, Wake Forest and Southern Miss,” Crews said. “I think that Auburn could be close. I went to camp there and they talked to me a good bit. They have been sending me a lot of mail. Alabama and Georgia Tech have also been sending me mail everyday.”

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Crews runs the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds, has a 330-pound bench press, a 400-pound bench press and a 22-inch vertical jump.
“My top four schools right now are LSU, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia Tech,” Crews said. “There is still a chance that someone could come into the picture with an offer, but it would have to be a good school because I really like these four.”
Crews was named first team all southwest Georgia and was honorable mention all-area as a junior. He has started the final five games of his sophomore and has been a starter ever since.
“I have been debating on whether to commit early or wait and take all of my visits,” Crews said. “I think that I would rather take all of my visits, see who all offers and what each school has to offer. If I got somewhere and know that it is the place for me then I might commit.”
He has camped at Auburn and LSU this summer. He is one of the top student-athletes in the South as he boasts an 1180 on the SAT and carries a 4.0 GPA.
