Class of 2015 Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek offensive tackle Kaleb Kim already has offers from the likes of Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina, but one SEC team he had be waiting to hear from jumped aboard on Tuesday.
"Georgia offered today," Kim said. "It was definitely one that I've wanted to pick up for a while."
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Kim is the No. 210 overall player in the country and lives within an hour of Athens. He had a terrific junior season and the more coaches see of his film, the more offers he's likely to pick up.
"They looked at my film and made the decision (to offer)," Kim said.
Georgia offensive line coach Will Friend is Kim's primary recruiter, and the rising senior said the two have a good relationship.
"We get along very well," Kim said. "I like Coach Friend a lot."
The decision to offer bodes well for the Bulldogs, who will likely get a visit from Kim "soon for sure." In the meantime, they're one of his favorite schools.
"They're high up there on the list," Kim said.
