Georgia LB commits to Stanford
Caleb Kelly was considering California and Ole Miss, but when looking ahead, he could not say no to Stanford.
"Cal and Old Miss are both very good schools each in their own way, but I chose Stanford because it’s a school with great football and academics," said Kelly. "Thinking about my future at Stanford makes me excited. I can't wait to be a Cardinal."
Kelly made his decision Monday and he said it was "very close" between the schools. He played a lot of weakside defensive end at College Park (Ga.) Hapeville Charter, but he plans to play outside linebacker at Stanford.
