Georgia gems to visit O-State

Two of the top players in the state of Georgia are scheduled to hop a plane to Oklahoma this weekend and will be taking an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State for its big game against Kansas State. So who’s coming and going.
“I’m going over to Oklahoma State this weekend with my teammate, Anthony (Parker),” said two-star linebacker Keith Boykins from Lovejoy. “I’m really looking forward to seeing what it’s like over there. They’ve been recruiting me really hard and a lot of people at our school, so it’ll be interesting to see how they respond in a big game.”

Boykins, who is 6-foot and 232 pounds, is an inside linebacker that is a tackling machine. He had more than 100 tackles as a sophomore, and then he followed it up with 83 tackles as a junior. He’s already racked up more than 40 tackles as a senior.
Parker is a two-star offensive guard that has quickly moved up the recruiting charts with college coaches.
Boykins, however, is sitting on two scholarship offers. He’s got an offer from Oklahoma State and East Carolina. He’s getting regular calls from South Carolina, Auburn, Cincinnati, Indiana, OSU and ECU.
In a previous update, Boykins said he was leaning toward South Carolina, is that still the case?
“Yeah, it’s still pretty much the same, but I’m going to take my visits,” he said.
“My dad and I are actually talking about that tonight. I’m going to check out Louisville and East Carolina for sure, and if things go well at Oklahoma State then I’ll probably visit out there, too.”
