Georgia four-star CB moving up

When you talk about up-and-comers in the Southeast, you can't forget to include the name of Columbus (Ga.) Shaw cornerback Brandon Williams.
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound Williams has quickly gone from an unknown to one of the hottest commodities in the South. With impressive offers on the table from Auburn, Georgia, Louisville and several others, Williams is ready to enjoy the recruiting process.

"I'm not close to committing to anybody," Williams said.
"I want to wait and see how things develop. It seems like a lot of coaches are just now finding out about me. That's cool. That means that I will have a lot of good options to choose from in the end."
It's not like he doesn't already. With those solid offers and serious looks from Florida and Georgia Tech, also, Williams has quickly established himself as one of the Peach State's top prospects.
"My main school is Auburn," Williams said. "They have great coaches and it's not a bad school. Like I said, I want to wait it out and see what happens, but Auburn is my top school."
Williams only had one interception last season because teams didn't throw his way. He said this year he will move around some, so he can get to the ball more. He starts his senior season on Friday against Sandy Creek. He is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 25 cornerback in the nation.
